A Federal Privacy Law requires us to give you this privacy notice to explain how we collect, use and safeguard your personal financial information. You can be confident that your financial privacy is a top priority of Delco Postal Credit Union. 

In order to offer you the most competitive products to meet your financial needs, effectively process and service your transactions and comply with federal reporting requirements and/or state or federal laws, it is necessary for us to share the information we collect regarding you, as described below, with various organizations with whom we partner. Some examples of companies who partner with us include: vendors who work with us to process and mail account statements, and credit and check card processors. 

In those instances where we partner with organizations that provide our members with additional financial products or provide the credit union with services, we may disclose all the information we collect as described below. To protect your confidentiality and limit the use of the information we provide, we have entered into special agreements with these organizations. 

To protect our member's privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide. We do not permit these companies to sell to other third parties the information we provide them. 

We receive nonpublic personal financial information from you in a variety of ways: Information we receive from you on membership and loan applications and other forms: 

Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; 
Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency; 
Information obtained when verifying the data you provide on an application or other forms, such as from your current or past employers or from other institutions where you conduct financial business. 

If you terminate your membership with Delco Postal Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law. 

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to Delco Postal employees who have a specific business purpose in utilizing your data. Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations and leading industry practices to safeguard your nonpublic personal information.
